Operation Homework provides personalized tutoring and homework assistance in Math, Science, Reading, and Writing and academic test preparation (EOG, ACT, SAT, and others) to prepare students for college, career, and community success. We empower students to think critically, explore their creativity, and build confidence in their ability to eXcel in school!
Program Overview of Operation Homework
Operation Homework is a free academic enrichment program that emphasizes homework completion, test preparation, social skill-building, and the establishment of effective study habits. Our primary focus is STEM-based subjects facilitated by certified teachers who are subject matter experts at schools and colleges in Guilford County. We provide individual assessments to determine each child’s skill level, then partner with parents, students, and school personnel to establish a customized plan for each student.
Each day at Operation Homework, students receive personalized academic assistance with homework, specialized skill-building determined by individual needs, and enrichment activities to gain confidence in their ability to succeed. Because they participate in our programs, Operation Xcel students continue to demonstrate self-efficacy rates of over 90% in STEM-related subjects.
