Equipping Youth For The Future
Operation Xcel involves students, parents, and the community in increasing educational, social, and career- and college-readiness skills through tutoring, mentoring, STEM/STEAM-based academic enrichment, test preparation, parenting, and advocacy empowerment workshops. We also provide access and tools for technology literacy. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of these children and families.
Whether you have a reluctant reader or a child who is socially awkward, Operation Xcel will help them excel.
As students embark upon a new school year, they can reflect on their Summer STEAM & Shenanigans from Operation Xcel's 3-Steps Ahead and two-week intensive Rising Camps. Parents: Don't wait until your children struggle with subjects! Enroll them now in our individualized afterschool tutoring, homework assistance in Math, Science, Reading, and Writing, and academic test preparation (EOG, ACT, SAT, and others) to prepare students for college, career, and community success. We wish the students much success and a school year filled with fun learning! Operation Xcel looks forward to serving our students again during the 2024-2025 school year.
A STORY OF SUCCESS
Meet Jayden
Jayden joined Operation XCEL last summer to get early access to the 6th-grade curriculum. He made it a personal goal to improve his mastery skill level in Math. Although he struggled with Math in the past, he worked hard over the summer and enrolled in Operation Xcel's after-school program when school started.
Jayden's grades were inconsistent, but he never gave up. When his Math grade dropped to an "F," he agreed to attend intensive tutoring and sacrificed some of his enrichment time. By the end of the second quarter, Jayden had raised his Math grade from an "F" of 54 to a "B" grade of 80. He continued to receive intensive tutoring and achieved an "A" grade of 90 in Quarter 3. Currently, Jayden has a "B" grade of 86 in Quarter 4 for Math.
